Authentic and extremely tasty pizzas! Perfect after a long days hiking. The staff were very welcoming. Definitely worth visiting.

We were served very friendly (I suspect by the boss), so I'm not only giving one point! The vegetarian pizza gets one point - that was Dr. Oetker live ... I really don't expect something like that from an Italian restaurant. If only I had read through the recessions better beforehand - although these are very broad and range from delicious to frozen. So it wouldn't have been an indicator either.

Pizza was ok, service friendly. Unfortunately, that's about it. Interior like in a pub and hardly any compliance with corona guidelines. In the already very small room, all tables were occupied, the distance was not taken into account and the waiter did not wear a mask at times. We felt very uncomfortable.

Compliance with the corona rules is only faked. Tables that had been kept free at the beginning were occupied so that a distance of 70cm could not be maintained. Had we known that beforehand, we would not have eaten there. Otherwise food was okay. Furniture a bit old-fashioned.

Delicious pizza! And very friendly waiter! The food came super fast too. There is still a lot that can be improved on the pasta. I lacked a little attention to detail. Rigatoni Gorgonzola was a pure, very heavy white cream sauce, some herbs or spinach and spices would have been missing. After a third it was enough.

Cozy restaurant with beer garden. We were able to reserve a table for two on Saturday. The boss and the waitresses were extremely friendly and quick. The pizza was delicious, especially the bottom exactly as it should be. We had a nice, uncomplicated evening and can absolutely recommend the restaurant!

Delicious pizza. On the pizza Katharina there was a spiciness pepperoni salami, spinach in nd knobi. The pizza wasn't overloaded or greasy like other Italians. Simply tasty.

A small, cozy pizzeria with a beer garden that also offers shade, which is appreciated on sunny days. In addition, you are warmly welcomed and the order is quickly accepted. Drinks are quickly available. You don't have to wait long for food. The price / performance ratio is really good. We also have to praise that the waiter is still attentive after the dishes have been served. The only drawback - the menus should be renewed because they give the wrong impression of the pizzeria.

Dear Pizzeria Trattoria, Yesterday me and my wife at pizza at your place. Its really one of the better pizza's that we have ate in a long time, at the end of the night we had 3 in total. (Together) We where astonished by the really really nice tomato sauce that was jused for the pizza, keep up the good work and I hope that far right Germany doesn't give you a hard time. Love new fans.

We had pizza which was very good and nothing to complain about. We were served quickly and the food was there quickly. Would go again tomorrow, so a clear recommendation ??

Food was sufficient to poor. The food tasted the way the waiter smelled. Unfortunately you couldn't pay with a card in this restaurant (I should have noticed when setting up the restaurant), so I had to walk 1km to the nearest bank in the pouring rain. The waitress kindly wanted to show me the money, which the boss didn't accept. Therefore I cannot recommend the restaurant.

Delicious, fast and inexpensive. Friendly service. One shouldn't look so closely into the corners. If you are not sensitive, the visit is worthwhile. In any case, culinary.

We went here on a Saturday night at 21:00. We were late because we got lost on the way back from the ski slopes. Still it was a good one hour before closing time and the waitress was as usual quite disappointed to see more customers coming in so late (you observe this a lot in Germany). The first thing she said when we came in was ‘how late is it!?’ In German. Next she said ‘You will have to eat fast’. All this before even giving us a table. This was a horrifying experience. After a tired long day of skiing no one wants to be asked ‘to eat fast’. Hospitality is a lost cause in this restaurant. 2 stars is only for the food which was pretty good thanks to the cheerful Italian chef who came and courteously asked if we like the food.

We went to this small pizzeria trattoria, called L'Italiano, with friends who live in Grainau and we loved it. We sat outdoors in early April warmth in the small garden. The food was fantastic. We had a range of ages and tastes and there was something for everyone. We clocked up a spag bol, a calzoni, a couple of pizzas, some salads and (for me) a divine lasagne. Everyone was very happy (and very full). They also made great fruit juice schorlen drinks. The price was good and the staff very friendly. There are some reviews here about rude wait staff, but that wasn't our experience. The place made our mouths water so much that we planned to go back again later in the week. Sadly it didn't happen, but it's number 1 on our list for when we return.

We have been received with a very rude and disrespectful waitress. this disrespectful and unwelcoming attitude continued even after we were seated not once but twice. And even when the issue was raised to the person in charge they dealt with the situation very badly. Worst experience we had in Germany throughout our trip.

This is possibly the best authentic Italian restaurant outside Italy. It is excellent in all ways. The artichoke salad and seafood salads are out-of-this-world delicious. The homemade lasagna is the best I have ever enjoyed. Service is friendly and superb.

We visited in late September looking for a snack at the end of the night, I ordered the number 18 special pizza with hot salami, gorgonzola cheese and garlic and my wife ordered the number 22 completa pizza with salami, ham, mushrooms, artichoke, pepper and olives. The dining experience was nice, it was good to see an animal friendly restaurant (unlike Australia where hotels, restaurants and cafes don't welcome pets) and the service was good. The food came quickly and the pizzas were big, I ate most of my pizza (all of the salami and about half the gorgonzola pieces) and my wife finished hers. At this point I was prepared to give them a four star rating but around three-four hours later my pizza came back up and kept coming back up for a few hours more. My wife had no problems. I can only put it down to the gorgonzola or the salami. There are no other reviews mentioning anything like this and I would put it down to a one off problem. I would eat here again if we were in the area but I would avoid the number 18 special pizza. Visited September 2014
